About UsWe are pleased to be back in the Vail area, bringing our historic, authentic, lime plaster wall finishes to the finer residences in the Rocky Mountains. Owners Ray Butera and Trudi Schraner pride themselves in excellence and are passionate in all phases of their work. We at GWF, have over 12 years of interior plastering experience, using original, organic lime plasters and paints, applied with classic techniques, that date back to the Italian Renaissance Period. In addition to their historic beauty and luminosity, our finishes have additional benefits, like resisting fungus, mold and mildew. As a result, our plasters allow for natural climate control due to their porosity; and dry to a hard, durable finish, free of synthetic and environmentally hazardous materials. Our wide variety of finishes and textures from course to smooth, lend themselves to small commercial, and new and existing residential applications. We have the finest Venetian, Marmorino, Intonachino and mineral lime paints, imported from Italy.
